Looking west the Rocky Mountains join the skyline in the distance

As I got closer to the rocks the detail which could be found on each one was quite interesting and also caught my attention to photograph for a little while

On Friday February 27

just before the game I noticed the sun starting to drop behind the stands on the 3rd base side of the stadium

This area was once home to the Lowry Air Force Base and over the past fifteen years it has been redeveloped into a new neighborhood

Dream a Little Dream Lake - Print 2024 Calendar Looking west the Rocky MountainsI could have stayed in bed and continued dreaming, however I woke up early and headed to Rocky Mountain National Park and the Bear Lake area. After photographing around Bear Lake at sunrise I hike a little over a mile to Dream Lake. As usual there was a stiff wind, and once I got to Dream Lake it just started to howl. I didn't spend much time around the lake, as this was also a scouting mission for future trips towards Dream Lake later this winter.
